I had this song in the works for quite a long time, I finished it when my dad was quite sick during the pandemic and I became quite isolated from everyone around me. For me it is a song about how we can isolate ourselves for even very long periods of time, and while we are screaming out on the inside we still carry on as if everything is fine for whatever reason. Now I'm surrounded by those who care about me and I've been able to breach that shell a bit and be a happier person.
